AutoCamp Joshua Tree
Location: Joshua Tree, California Client: AutoCamp
The design team collaborated with this innovative hospitality company on crafting their brand standards as they moved from a “proof-of concept” phase to be more focused on growth and expansion, subsequently retained to implement two new projects using these new standards and working with a highly motivated client team. The first of these was the 60-key AutoCamp resort just outside of Joshua Tree National Park. The AutoCamp brand seeks to appeal to an active traveler that is motivated by an adventure lifestyle, but still seeks unique and engaging places stay in between the days’ activities. AutoCamp resorts provide a main lodge as the center of social life, but also free-standing airstream and tent “guestrooms’ for those wishing for a more intimate and private experience. Narrative Design Studios in San Francisco provided Interior Design Services.
Tom Sprinkle was Design Director for the AutoCamp projects while at HKS Architects, Inc.
