1700 South Harbor Boulevard

Location: Anaheim, California   Client: Wincome Group

This proposed hotel sits at the intersection of Disney Way and Harbor Boulevard in Anaheim California. This critical intersection accommodates heavy pedestrian traffic entering the main entrance to the Disneyland resort immediately across the street and will be a focal point for local residents and visitors. The hotel will be a 5-diamond luxury resort with 580 keys, 50,000 sf of meeting space, and 25,000sf of retail and F&B spaces. The design intent of this project is to create a 5-diamond level of luxury that will be unique for this area. Eschewing any “themed” architectural language, the design instead introduces whimsy and surprise to meet the expectations of visitors to Disneyland, but also introduces a level of quality, sophistication, and luxury that will be unique for the area.

Tom Sprinkle was the Design Director for the 1700 South Harbor resort project while at HKS Architects, Inc.
